scores from a midi file

If you really can not find the score of music that you would like to play you can use the midi file (if any) of that music, and view the score with a program (usually it is easier to find the file midi the score). Unfortunately I do not know a decent free programs that perform this function, a couple of years ago I bought Cakewalk Professional, I always used that and I use it still works perfectly and I can manipulate as I want all the midi files. There are many programs that do this work, but everyone I've seen (GuitarPro, MidiIllustrator, MIDIView, MidiNotate ...) are to be paid: (You can
However, using trial versions of these, if you see a score every time, or else buy the software, you're on your own or otherwise ... ;)

Anyway, now pointing you to the steps to do to have a score be used starting from midi files with a free program. TuxGuitar download and install it, when you start the program go to File-> Import-> Import and select the Midi midi file you want. In the southern panel of the window you will see that there is a list of instruments (Piano, Guitar, Ensemble Strings, Bass ...) available at the midi file, just click on the name of the tool you want to see to see the score.

I hope this helps you to see the scores you need, hello!

Linux Ubuntu Customization Guide (tested on Ubuntu Hardy Heron 8.04 x86)

just installed Ubuntu looks like this:

graphics simple and pleasant, but eventually get bored, so let's see how to make it more attractive.

Tip 1: Refer to www.gnome-look.org to download sets of icons, cursors, wallpapers etc..

CHANGE THE DESKTOP BACKGROUND

- Click with the right mouse button and select your desktop wallpaper
Sets - using the Add button + add all the backgrounds you want. A good site to which to retrieve good desktop for any resolution www.interfacelift.com.

CHANGE THE SET OF ICONS

- Click with the right mouse button and select your desktop wallpaper
Set - Select the tab Theme, click on the Customize button , select the Icons , you may now select the set of icons you want from the menu.
All the icons are saved in the / usr / share / icons so if you want to add more icons do not have to do is put the icons in that folder along with the others. I am posting immediately a nice set found on gnome-look, clicca qui per scaricare .

- cd ~/Scrivania
- sudo mv Mac_OS_X_Leopard /usr/share/icons

Ora è stato aggiunto il nuovo set di icone, sarà selezionabile tramite il menù

Tip 2: Per incollare il testo sul terminale premere MAIUSC + Ins .

INSTALLARE UN MANAGER FOR WINDOWS

I would say that it can be much more pleasant to have a selector window with a nice graphic, but to enable it you must have a good enough graphics card and have at least enabled the visual effects of Ubuntu Normal (right-click on the desktop , Set wallpaper-> Visual Effects). Open the Synaptic package manager (System-> Administration-> Synaptic Package Manager), click on Search and write avant window navigator. Click on the squares corresponding to avant-window-navigator and select Mark for Installation , then click the Apply button . When will the installation is finished you will have the program in the main menu click Accessories.
To allow the manager to start automatically when you log on Ubuntu go to System-> Preferences-> Sessions , click on the Add button , and put this:

Name:
AWN Command: avant-window- navigator

Well, now we've changed the desktop background, the set of icons, and added Avant Window Navigator, here is that the Ubuntu desktop has another face:

ADD / REMOVE ICONS ON DESKTOP

icons on the desktop such as "My Computer" or "Trash", which by default are on ubuntu, you can safely add, go to System-> Preferences-> Main Menu , in the new window that appears select System Tools from the menu on the left and then right onto activated Configuration Editor. Close the window, go to the main menu and click System Tools-> Configuration Editor , then go to apps-> nautilus-> desktop and choose which icons appear on desktop.

ADD ITEMS ON THE DESKTOP

objects to which I refer are: clocks, calendars, weather forecasts and other pleasant futility that encumbers the machine but are, as they say, "eyecandy", that is beautiful to see.
We must first install a program that handles these items on your desktop, then go in our beloved synaptic package manager and install gdesklets , now started from the menu (Accessories-> gDesklets) we can already use some object (if you can add other downloaded).
