Every time I reach for someone on a PC is known that the attention paid to the firewall and antivirus is minimal. There is so much fear of virus but does little to protect themselves.
To start, think not only antivirus, what must be the medicine when the PC is already ill, first think of the firewall, which prevents infections, prevents rubbish from entering the PC.
Here are two good free firewall, choose one:

If you want the virus on its own here are a few. I usually install the classic AVG

The best protection at the end is you, do not click on links at random, do not go on sites that give crack, cd key, pornography, verified that the origin of what you download is safe. If you search for example "black download" on google, the program to burn CD-DVD, download it from the original site, do not go in others at least they are not certified by the producer as partner sites that rely on their product for download.
